Video game movies are nothing new, but I have never seen anything quite like the Red Dead Redemption movie. This short film directed by John Hillcoat (The Road, The Proposition) runs 30 minutes and recently made its debut on FOX.

The Red Dead Redemption movie is based off of the recently released video game of the same name. The remarkable thing about this movie is that it was created using the game's graphics engine, meaning everything that you see in the movie you can also see in the game.
