The Cho Hyung Suk Modernatique Chair is Both Modern and Antique

There is definitely something both modern and antique about the Modernatique chair. I think its minimalist design is more contemporary while its shape and lines hark back to another era.

Created by Korean designer Cho Hyung Suk, the Modernatique chair is available in two version: black with walnut accents and white with ash accents. It was recently showcased at the Korea Design Festival 2010 in Seoul, Korea. I'm sure it garnered a lot of attention due to its intriguing simplicity.
