New York City-based artist Marcus Tremonto, known for his contemporary lighting designs, was approached by Nike to work his magic on a pair of Zoom Force-1 boots. Tremonto's customized version of the Nike sneaker-boots are a futuristic delight, what he calls his "vision of the future of sports." The one-of-a-kind boots, made in his NYC studio, were inspired by James Bond, iconic anime shows and sci-fi. One white boot has been made to look like a jet-pack, while the other is stacked with gadget-like tools. The final product by Marcus Tremonto is a unique culmination of pop culture references.
Marcus Tremonto's customized Zoom Force-1 boots will be on display in Denver, Colorado and then Munich, Germany as a part of a global exhibition.
