Momentum Madrid Devises Special Discount for Limon Y Nada Drink

The changing seasons is one factor affecting marketing discounts, and now the weather will be another -- at least for the Coca-Cola-owned drink Limon Y Nada in Spain. The agency Momentum Madrid has come up with a creative way to sell more of the Limon Y Nada drink during the hot summer months by discounting its price when the mercury rises.

The agency has installed 18 drink machines in water parks and amusement parks across Spain. Above the machines are a large thermometer that also displays the price of the Limon Y Nada drink according to the thermometer's temperature reading. For example, when the weather is 25 C or lower, the drink will cost 2 €. When it's higher, between 26 and 29 C, the drink will cost 1.40 €, or 30 percent less. When the temperature rises to 30 C or higher, the drink will be only 1 €.

Momentum Madrid has devised a great way for customers to get more bang for their buck during hotter temperatures, and it also helps Coca-Cola to sell more of its Limon Y Nada drink. It's a win-win!
