Autobiographical Asylum Videos

The Lady Gaga Marry the Night Video is Haunting

A woman who calls herself 'Mother Monster' is certainly not expected to ever play it safe, but the Lady Gaga Marry the Night music video makes everything Gaga has ever done look bland.

The video starts off with Lady Gaga being wheeled into an asylum where she spends some time to herself; she then appears in her bedroom, where she receives a phone call that she's being dropped by her record label. The chaos then ensues, with a sad bathtub scene and some traumatic tantrums that follow.

The almost 14 minute-long video is autobiographical, according to Gaga. She tells Vanity Fair that it is about the "worst day of [her] life."

"It’s chaotic," she says, "and sad. But I don’t want it to be safe. It has to be humiliating." Check out the Lady Gaga Marry the Night video and prepare to have your mind blown. It's clear that she has come a long way since the days of 'Just Dance.'
