For every piece of jewelry purchased from the JH Philanthropy is Beautiful or Joan by Joan Hornig lines, the designer donates 100 per cent of the profits to a charitable cause of the buyer's choosing. If the preferred charity of the purchaser is not listed on the site as one of its over 700 recognized charities, the company will add it to the existing list.
The pieces are constructed from quality materials such as gold, silver, south sea pearls and diamonds. Each of the two separate lines appeals to buyers with different price points; the JH Philanthropy is Beautiful line catered to the extremely wealthy while the newly launched Joan by Joan Hornig is geared toward buyers with more modest budgets.
