The pancakes are made to resemble the sinfully delicious Hostess chocolate cupcakes, complete with the vanilla swirl. The pancakes are fluffy chocolate flavored pastries with the help of sifted cocoa powder. Chocolate sauce made of heavy cream, sugar and semi-sweet melted chocolate is whisked together and poured all over the breakfast cakes. The sauce must cover the top of the cakes completely to match the heavenly chocolate taste of the factory cupcakes. If you really want your Hostess Cupcake pancakes to be accurate, don’t forget to pipe on some white chocolate in cheerful squiggle.
