The Hip Hop Velvet Touch campaign promotes a new watch that is classically simple except for one fun detail: it is covered in a plush velvet material that will make people want to cuddle with it rather than wear it. Instead of focusing on that obvious desire, however, this ad campaign shows how elegant and refined the unique use of such fabric makes this watch.

Conceived and executed by Milan-based ad agency Bcube, the Hip Hop Velvet Touch campaign gives the watch a Victorian vibe. Available in two colors (blue and red), each watch is set on a velvet backdrop of the same hue, which was illustrated and photographed by Carioca. Images on this backdrop highlight the tag line, "The watch with a fascinating story."
