Rebeca Saray Gude's recent series 'The Girl from the Light' is an imaginative look at an epic, mythical world as experienced by a rather feline-like young lady.
The series opens with the woman standing against a breathtaking vista of castles and mountains, accompanied by a small dragon-like creature. Her hair has been styled in such a way so as to resemble horns while her most prominent piece of clothing is a black corset. Subsequent shots tend to focus more on this young lady than they do on the fantastical world she inhabits.
It is worth pointing out that though the setting of this series is entirely a work of Gude's imagination, the young lady is not. She is a model who has been photographed. Gude took these photographs and then retouched them to create a whimsical, cat-eyed character.
