This concept jacuzzi was designed by Joel Roberts for the Reece Bathroom Innovation Awards of 2012 and demonstrates a wonderfully fluent use of Corian material. It's as if the tub began as a flat but flexible sheet, gradually changing shape due to the undulations of a wave beneath it.
The beautiful freestanding basin looks impossibly light for its function of containing significant quantities of water. The round-bellied Fl'eau Bathtub balances on either side by the support of gracefully drooping wings.
