Magnificently Morphed Creatures

Enrique Gomez de Molina Puts a Spin on Taxidermy

Taxidermist Enrique Gomez de Molina has created a unique way to metamorphose animals.

The taxidermist works with the no longer living animals and stitches the different pieces together. Molina's work itself has a beauty that is really unseen in the world of art today. The pieces are composed with almost minimal damage to the parts of the various animals. He entitles his work with names such as 'Paradise,' 'Queen of the Desert' and 'The Marionette.'

Enrique Gomez de Molina has said of his work, "The impossibility of my creatures brings me both joy and sadness at the same time. The joy comes from seeing and experiencing the Fantasy of the work but that is coupled with the sadness of the fact that we are destroying all of these beautiful things."
