Hicham Riad and Kid Acne Collaborate for Elle Belgium June 2012

Featured in the Elle Belgium June 2012 issue, the Art Power editorial cleverly interjects playful cartoon characters with models. Photographer Hicham Riad worked with English artist, illustrator and hip-hop musician Kid Acne to create this part-animated and part-real editorial. The photographs feature the young model Robin Hölzken playing with Kid Acne's little cartoon creatures.

The entire atmosphere of the editorial is quirky as this seaside shoot fills the imagination. To keep it young, the shoot lacks high heels and traditional structured styling, instead opting for a much more free-spirited look. The styling by Anne Rabeux keeps it fashionably fresh with her color palette. Rabeux puts Hölzken in bright bold colors and mixes them with some complementary nude tones.
