The Ecotricity Ion Horse electric superbike is the world's fastest and only wind-powered motorcycle to exist. Designed by one of Britain's top universities with the help of a well-known eco-energy company, the Ecotricity Ion Horse superbike will race around the famous Isle of Man TT track in hopes of being the first electric bike to reach speeds of 100 mph. According to the Ecotricity website, the bike "will be completely powered by wind energy, which from Ecotricity's fleet of 52 windmills."
The bike is entirely pollution-free as Dale Vince, the founder of Ecotricity notes, "It's another great demonstration of how transport of the very near future will be - powered by renewable energy, made in Green Britain - and with zero pollution.” The Ecotricity Ion Horse electric superbike is the bike of the future!
