Caula says that her creation “takes inspiration from interactive spaces within the playground setting,” to create a dining environment unlike any other. The table is suspended by four ropes as well as each chair which hangs from the ceiling. To make sure there is minimal crashing, one must synchronize all four pieces of the dining room set to move at the same time.
While the Eat & Play Table and Chairs by Rodrigo Caula certainly does look like fun, one can only imagine the difficulty of trying to eat while rocking back and forth (soup is not recommended).
