Featuring a covering made of 100% natural silk, the Cocoon chair by Rock Wang is a seat that was, "designed by nature." The chair is part of an eco-friendly range of furniture (made of sustainable materials) that Wang unveiled at Milan Design Week.

The silk material helps to enable the Cocoon chair by Rock Wang to boast water-resistant abilities. Durability is definitely implied as the chair looks almost like a smooth rock. Actual silkworms spun their threads around a bamboo structure to give this extraordinary seat it's silky finish. It took five days for the worms to complete their work.
