Wooden Bolt Stools

'Something' by Charlie Heyward and Peter Bingham is a Giant Piece of Hardware

Charlie Heyward and Peter Bingham teamed up together to create the rather quirky 'Something' chair that resembles a nut and bolt. The duo attend the Steneby school at the University of Gothenburg and wanted to challenge their notions of boundaries that separates art and design.

What's really radical about this giant nut and bolt seat is that it's fully functioning. Charlie Heyward and Peter Bingham created the piece so that you could actually screw or unscrew the two separate pieces. I've never wanted to sit on a bolt so badly in my life.
