Inflated Trampoline Overpasses

The Bridge in Paris by AZC Would Have People Jumping Across Rivers

Paris may be considered one of the most romantic cities in the world, but the Bridge in Paris by AZC would have it be one of the most fun cities as well. This competition concept envisions an inflated overpass that does not encourage walking, cycling or any other common forms of pedestrian transportation. Instead, it is comprised of trampolines that would have people jumping across.

Offering a unique perspective of the City of Lights, the Bridge in Paris by AZC is like an inflatable bounce house rented for kids' parties. Bringing a childlike sense of play near the Eiffel Tower area, this bridge could potentially be installed by the Bir-Hakeim Bridge. The architects say that it is "dedicated to the joyful release from gravity as one bounces above the river."
