The Thorn Manicure Takes Cues from Roses and Retro Style

Nylon Magazine is recreating the thorn manicure, which was a popular look back in the 60s. The magazine gives a full rundown on how to acquire this look on its website.

The idea is to look fiercely feminine, but with a bit of edge. The do-it-yourself look takes thorns from a rose stem, painting them whatever color you want (in my opinion, red would definitely be the fiercest) and sticking them onto your nails. The thorn manicure will have your enemies quivering.
