Individuality-Injecting Exhibits

The Yves Behar 'TechnoCRAFT' Showcases Uber-Unique Designs

Like almost everything else in the world, design has fallen victim to mass marketing and mob mentality. The Yves Behar 'TechnoCRAFT' exhibition, however, shows that there's a growing group of designers set on creating work based on individuality.

Opening at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the Yves Behar 'TechnoCRAFT' exhibition focuses particularly on six avenues of expression: Crowdsourcing, Platforms, Blueprints, Hacks, InCompletes and Modules. Through these techniques, artists around the world have been imbuing emotion and soul into otherwise inanimate objects.
