Susie MacMurray's 'Widow' Garment Surely Killed its Husband

A couple of years ago, Trend Hunter wrote about a rubber glove wedding gown and now I bring another incredible creation from the same designer/artist: Susie MacMurray's 'Widow' dress. Instead of rubber, it is made of nappa leather and 100,000 adamantine needles. Considering its name, I seriously caution any married woman from donning this garment.

Currently exhibited at the Gallery of Costume in Manchester, England, Susie MacMurray's 'Widow' is just as stunning as her other sculptures. In the gallery above, you'll find images of her balloon dresses as well.
