A design student from Britian, Min-Kyu Choi, has won the top prize in the Brit Insurance Designs of the Year Awards. After noticing his MacBook Air had been suffering scratch marks, he realized the problem was the too-bulky outlet that would accompany his laptop, both in the same case. His solution? Make the power source thinner, thus creating the super sleek folding plug. Athough the plug was first designed in 1946, Choi's redesign allows the plug to be folded to a miniscule 10 mm.
