Recently, there seems to be a push for simplicity. Minimal layers, simple whites and easy pieces creating the image of a relaxed and put together person. The runways, the celebs, all pushing this view but luckily, specifically there is one photographer who continually photographs the layered and trendy, and seems to believe that layers still rule The Sartorialist. Individuality is always present in his photos and there is a pattern, they all layer.
He photographs subjects from all walks of life, and from all over the world. They all possess the unique ability to perfectly coordinate several colours, textures and lengths and look stylish and fashionable.
His subjects are not followers of the day to day trends, but inspired people who set their own trends. Should we not follow in their footsteps? We should wear what we love and we in turn will look good for doing so. ENJOY!
