Smashable Musical Instruments

K's Japan Develops a Guitar to Destroy Guilt-Free

The SMASH guitar by K's Japan is a musical instrument that is meant for onstage antics, tantrums and examples of self-expression by would-be and real rockstars. These guitars are designed specifically to be destroyed and then recycled.

SMASH guitar comes in both black and white and create a special, "devastating" sound while they are being busted up. At $60 each, these pinata-like instruments would be very fun to play and destroy. We wonder if a SMASH guitar can be played like a regular guitar or if they are only replicas meant for smashing.
