Brian Dettmer recycles, but not the way that everyone else does. This bizarre Atlanta artist creates 3D sculptures made from old cassettes.

In some ways, the shells of cassette tapes that protect the delicate content inside are much like our own bones that protect our innards. With this in mind, Brian Dettmer uses old used and abused cassettes to create his morbid artworks.
