Upon entering any drugstore, I’m usually too consumed with the ‘drug’ part rather than the ‘store’ aspect to ever notice how monotonous they are, that is, until I stumbled on Oaza Zdravlja Pharmacy. This futuristic-retro fusion is utterly mind-boggling. Never have I considered that the interior design of pharmacies needed revamping.
Completed by none-other-than Karim Rashid, the Oaza Zdravlja Pharmacy is actually inspired by the human body rather than any particular time period. According to the designer, “This form is symbolic of the journey medication takes through the body’s cellular framework.”
