Airline Stiffs 1st Class Passengers

British Airways moved the body of an economy passenger, who died on a flight From Delhi to London, into the first-class section without telling the other passengers, causing them much distress. The airline apologized to the other first-class passengers, and pointed out that moving the body was its only viable alternative.

David Learmount, a former pilot and writer for Flight International magazine, sided with the airline saying that situations like this must be decided on a case-by-case basis and that diverting the flight was not an option.

"Always wear clean underwear while traveling," my mother used to say.
