Ultrafast Hatchbacks

New Volkswagen Golf R20 is Small But Speedy

Volkswagen likes to make fast functional cars and, with the premiere of their Golf R20, they are keeping up with that trend. Visually speaking, it looks a lot like other Volkswagen cars, however, under the hood it is a completely different car.

According to Topgear.com the Golf R20 has a 266bhp 2.0 litre turbo engine that will “propel the four-wheel-drive Golf to 62mph in 5.5 seconds if you spec the DSG transmission, or 0.2 seconds slower if you’d prefer a manual box.”

Meanwhile the exterior features LED running light, and new front and rear bumpers. The Golf R20 will be an exclusive sell at first, so don’t expect to see too many on the road just yet.
