The University of Rochester Medical Center has discovered that injecting compound Brilliant Blue G (BBG) into rats who have spinal chord injuries allowed them to walk again, according to CNN.
Results were especially impressive immediately after the rats were injured because they were able to walk again immediately with a limp.
Brilliant Blue G is found in blue M&Ms and Gatorade, the only side effect is that it turned the rats blue.
