Myst for iPhone Looks Like a Palm-Held World of Addictive Mystery

Remember the Myst computer game? Well, now there is Myst for iPhone, an app that lets you relive the graphic adventure game with the tap of a finger.

The original Myst made its debut for Macintosh computers in 1993, so it's fitting that it's smart phone debut is on the Apple iPhone.

If Myst for iPhone and iPod Touch is anything like the original game, players will be able to go to the virtual island of Myst using a special book (or in this case perhaps iTouch and iPhone app) to travel there. "There, the player uses other special books written by an artisan and explorer named Atrus to travel to several worlds known as 'Ages'" according to Wikipedia. "Clues found in each of these Ages help reveal the back-story of the game's characters. The game has several endings, depending on the course of action the player takes."
