Spring style took a turn back to basics this year with the use of burlap by Miu Miu.
The look was done by Burberry, with a dyed bag, by Fendi, with a basic burlap bag, and by Miu Miu. Miu Miu’s looks included various dress designs, a skirt, and a pair of heels.
While the use of burlap would suggest a lower price point, that’s not entirely the case, with the purses costing around $1400, the shoes at $600, and the dresses at $1500.
Certainly a look for times of recession, but perhaps not yet at a price point for it.
