Chloe Sevigny Turns Schoolgirl Staple Into Adult Must-Have

Chloe Sevigny recently wore a brass-buttoned blazer to a Kiehl’s celebration for the Doe Fund. This definitely got people talking--as well as rushing out to find a prep school blazer of their own. 

We all remember and loved the coveted blazers from Balenciaga’s Fall 2007 show and we went crazy over the look as soon as "Gossip Girl" first graced our television sets. At last night’s event, Sevigny, a Connecticut native, gave us a second look at the schoolgirl-chic look and has even editors swirling with nothing but positive feedback at the look. 

Somewhat out of reach the first time around, the elite prep school blazer is now available at many retailers within our grasp. Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren Rugby, and Lacoste all offer great versions at reasonable prices. Vintage shops will also have great finds, and don’t forget to try the boys' department in bigger stores!
