DIY Eco-Sandals

Crocheted Grocery Bags Make Sensible Plarn Shoes

Plarn is yarn made from plastic bags, like the ones you get when you buy groceries. It can be used in knitting and crocheting to make a number of useful products. One of these products is sandals.

Emily Berezin is an Etsy print artist who holds a BFA in studio art from Carnegie Mellon University, with concentrations in sculpture and printmaking. She is also concerned with the environment and likes to explore new ways of doing things. These sandals are the result of one of Berezin’s explorations.
