Cacti-Inspired Poufs

Footstools by Dutch Twins of Tweelink Studio Look Like Desert Plants

Furniture poufs or footstools, as they used to be called, are a very current home interior trend. These BUX upholstered seats are made of ‘skai leather’ with plastic bases and are intended for outdoor use.

The BUX poufs were designed for Dutch Summer by the design studio Tweelink, founded by twin sisters Tineke and Marieke Willems.

They footstools look like cacti (sans spines) planted in clay pots, which is very suitable for backyard décor. Apparently the wee Chihuahua thinks the black and white BUX pouf look a little too much like a real plant.
