Disturbing Animal Testing Ads

Morbid NOAH Campaign Uses Faux Fragrances with Dead Critters

NOAH is an organization devoted to the prevention of animal testing. The elegant images and sharp copy are enough to put the guilt in all of us. I find these ads very effective in getting their message embedded into people’s minds about the consequences of animal testing.

The second ad with the baby chick inside the bottle called ‘Mort pour l’industrie cosmétique’ (’death to the cosmetic industry’) really disturbed me. The ads were created by advertising agency Jung von Matt/Elbe, Hamburg, Germany with creative direction by Wolf Heumann, Dirk Haeusermann, Christian Fritsche, Peter Kirchhoff, and Kay Potthoff. The great copy was written by Frank Seiler.
