Marcovici Makes Lampshades From Old Slides, Negatives and Reels

This is one of the best uses I have seen for old lamps and slides for a while. These pieces are from artist Michael Marcovici and the slide ones in particular are really striking. What a refreshing use for old slides:

The film shade is from “Apollo 13,” a detail which make me desires it even more, but I still love the cubic brilliance of the slide light best.
