Old silverplate is made into new jewelry, hanging windchimes and garden art by the artists at Tempest in a Teapot. All of the sugars, creamers, teapots, and silverware used in the chimes and jewelry have been “repurposed” from New Jersey and Pennsylvania flea markets and auctions.
The artists also welcome customers to provide their own heirloom flatware, teapots, creamers, sugar bowls, baby cups, and so on in order to have their own personalized piece of history to hang their homes and to share memories with relatives.
Tempest in a Teapot is a combination of talents between longtime friends and partners, Barbara C. Ryan and Elsa M. Mikus. Their recycling passion is certainly put to good use in their jewelry, windchimes and garden art!
