Urban bathing is making a comeback and these three European examples of public baths are both architecturally pleasing and a fun way for locals and tourists to cool off with a dip in the water.
The two wooden structures are both in the Copenhagen area. The stunning circular structure is located on the coast of Kastrup and is also wheelchair accessible. The design provides protection from sea winds and some degree of privacy.
The second is in the harbor of the city center. Luckily, the waters of the Copenhagen harbor are said to be extremely clean.
The last example is on the Spree river in Berlin and started as a temporary art exhibit. The folks there liked it so much that the pools were made permanent, bars were added and the whole thing is covered in the winter months.
