Erwin Olaf's Stellar Artistic Product Placement Work

The versatile and highly talented Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf has been featured at Trend Hunter on several prior occasions. Now he is in the spotlight once again for his incredible product placement photography for the Dutch product design company Moooi. 

Olaf’s present campaign for Moooi seeks to showcase such products as vases, lamps, chairs, and silverware within a playful and really fun framework which involves elements of fantasy and unabashed--albeit tasteful--nudity. 

In addition to his commercial work for prestigious agencies all over the world, the gifted photographer has also exhibited his personal projects and collection at renowned galleries worldwide.

The last three digitally manipulated images in the gallery, which depict fashion models seamlessly blending with or being swallowed by their surroundings, belong to a commissioned job Olaf did for the New York Times in 2006.
