Gap Pop-Up Shops Themed Around Pantone Color 'Mimosa'

Pop-up shops are popping up all over the place. The latest retailer to cash in on the idea is GAP; they are also combining another aspect of what is hip, the Pantone color palette. Their store located on 5th Avenue in New York is offering t-shirts in several Pantone hues, including the 2009 pick, Mimosa (14-0848).

The color, according to Pantone, invokes optimism, hope, reassurance, warmth, cheerfulness, radiance and versatility, which would be a fitting statement for these turbulent, but hopefully improving, times. The Mimosa shirt is only available at the 5th Avenue store.
