Links to download Windows 7, codenamed Blackcomb and Vienna, went up in various places around the web after subscribers to MSDN and TechNet leaked the links causing the Microsoft TechNet site to go offline, directing visitors instead to a ‘coming soon’ screen.
When Windows 7 Beta is released again, only 2.5 million activation keys will be available for download. So far, reviews have been mixed; there have been reports that the Windows 7 system runs faster than Vista, it’s cleaner in terms of design, ‘sharing’ is easier, although the first three seconds of songs are cut off and other minor glitches.
