Modista Helps Budget Fashionistas Score Similar Styles

Modista has the potential to become my new favorite shoe shopping site. This startup website lets you sort by size, price, brand, and color just like other online venues, but then lets you browse shoes by clicking on their images.

After you’ve picked out a shoe you like from the selection, the real magic happens. Modista automatically displays other shoes similar to the ones you selected from a variety of online retailers. In the third image, I’ve chosen red shoes from the Modista menus. I clicked on a pair of red pumps, and the fourth image shows the sea of similar red pumps I was displayed.

Each time you click on a shoe you like, Modista automatically refreshes the selection with shoes that are similar to that pair. For anyone who’s on a budget, the prospect of finding a similar pair of shoes at a better price is tantalizing.
