Light Art Performance Photography

Danish LAPP Art

Though it may seem unlikely that these fabulous light images were created without the aid of a computer, the works of LAPP of Denmark are strictly non-manipulated photographs.

Light Art Performance photography describes the process using LED lights as “short, long time bulb exposure photography performed additionally with movement of light, on a real time basis”, utilizing the opening and closing of the shutter.

Each process creates one single photo which is not computer enhanced. The whole process is descended from light drawing and has since developed into its own art form.
