All of these pieces are made from old hubcaps collected from cars. Out of context, the art is not that great, but if you consider that they are made from hubcaps then you can see the skill involved.

They are made by 43-year-old Ptolemy Elrington, who works full time on this unique project fixing together his scrap yard finds.

Implications - "Reuse, reduce, recycle" is now that mantra being proclaimed by consumers. Taking old trash and converting it into something beautiful is one of the best ways to give discarded objects a new life.
