The 'Flat Bulb' is a radical new light bulb design by Joonhuyn Kim. Forget the fact that the thin shape takes up less space for shipping and storage, and the fact that they can be placed on a table without rolling off and smashing on the floor, these light bulbs look utterly cool.
If this bulb design gets the right exposure to get manufactured, I'm sure people would snap them up. They look like they would take up 1/4 of the space of traditional bulbs and would be 100 times easier to install with that paddle shape.
