Way back in August it was reported that Barack Obama wished Harry Smith happy birthday with a cupcake! How fitting then that now what can only be described as celebratory baking is taking place all across the United States.

Yes clearly some are a bit rubbish, but it is the thought that counts. There were SO many it was really hard choosing these. And yes, I know, jelly is not a cake, but reporting election results via jelly is so good it had to be included.
