Historical Figures in Underwear

“Balls” Print Campaign

This is a rather irreverent ad for men's underwear, aptly called “Balls." In this funny ad you can see iconic historical figures such as George Washington, Christopher Columbus, King Louis the XIV and Bismarck in boxers of different colors and other kinds of men's undies.

The four famous men are standing in full regalia, sans the bottom part of their garments. I find this ad campaign totally hilarious.

Implications - The advertising agency behind the clever campaign is Glow from Berlin, Germany. The creative director was Johannes Krempl who worked along with art directors Nicole Lanners, Carmen Gebhardt and Ina Rüdiger. The team did a fantastic job creating an ad that will definitely grasp the attention of consumers.
