This hero dad has created a life-sized Yoda cake for his son's fourth birthday (though I suspect also for himself). He has very kindly posted installments of this mammoth bake online.

I am not sure what percentage of Star Wars-themed kids' birthday parties are more influenced by the parents than the children, but I suspect it is fairly high.
