Worlds Most Expensive Experiment Breaks Down

If you expected to know just how we all came into being, and what happened immediately after the big bang, then you are just going to have to wait a little longer. The most expensive experiment in the world, the LHC costing a staggering $6.6 billion, that aims to reveal what happened immediately after the big bang has suffered a serious fault. One tonne of liquid helium flooded the experiment after developing a fault in a unit designed to super cool the particle accelerators magnets. The set back will mean a repair time of about two months and add a significant amount to the already costly experiment. So, for all those that had expected to witness the end of the world in the event that the experiment created a black hole, you can get on with your normal lives, at least for the next tow months!
