What's bigger than a bread basket, but smaller than a Honda Civic? The Mini Crossman--a crossover SUV that looks deceptively like the diminutive Mini Cooper. It won't share the “Cooper” of its closely related cousin, however. 

The slightly bigger Mini Crossman will feature all-wheel drive, a bench back seat, and 3-D touch displays. Look for it in 2009.

Implications - It's not always about size, sometimes the best products really do come in small packages. That being said, these scaled-down creations still need to give consumers all of the functionality they desire. Companies can benefit by trying to recreate their items into smaller, more compact sizes that still cater to everything the customer is looking for.
