Aya Hirano is a singer who is rocking Japan. Her handlers decided coming out with a calendar for 2009 would be a smart marketing move. Hirano, who apparently prefers school girl looks over a bikini has the top on upside down. Lucky for us somebody altered the original image and demonstrates how the bikini would look if worn properly.

Implications - Though this is considered a fashion faux paus, misuse of certain fashion items can prove beneficial to a designer looking to innovative his or her line. Oftentimes, success if born from mistakes, resulting in a "Eureka!" moment that could make the difference between being avant garde and being boring.
